Annual review of your H&S policy

Fire and General Risk Assessments

As an employer, you’re required by law to protect your employees, and others, from harm.
Under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, the minimum you must do is:

• identify what could cause injury or illness in your business (hazards)
• decide how likely it is that someone could be harmed and how seriously (the risk)
• take action to eliminate the hazard, or if this isn’t possible, control the risk

We will examine your workplace and your day-to-day operations and create a sufficient and proper risk assessment for you, which should you employ more than five employees it must be written down.

Relevant RAMS and SOP’s

Every business/organisation have different requirements for Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS). A work Method Statement sometimes called a “Safe Operating Procedure (SOP)” is a document that details the way a work task or process is to be completed. The Method Statement outlines the hazards involved and detailed guide on how to do the job safely, it will also detail which “control measures” are to be introduced to ensure the safety of everyone who is affected by the task or work process.

DSE Assessments

If your organisation has display screen users, then you must carry out suitable and sufficient display screen equipment assessments on those users. Our consultants can assist with conducting, monitoring and assisting with DSE assessments to ensure your people are safe at work.
